Portaloo’s will be located within the event field and sign posted.

WEATHER

The long range weather forecast for the early part of September looks just perfect for a dog show, not too hot and not too cold . We will have dog paddling pools and water bowls in the field and there are shaded areas in the field. Just in case the forecasters have it wrong, bring a waterproof with you and if you forget, we will have some biodegradable, waterproof ponchos you can pop on.

DOGS

All dog breeds and crossbreeds are welcome to take part (see exception below). Please keep you dog on a lead at all times, it would be total chaos otherwise. Please be careful if using an extendable lead, we don’t want lots of people tangled up!

RSPCA Sussex West Branch CIO advocate a policy of responsible pet ownership. The welfare and safety of all dogs taking part in the ring classes or agility paddock activities at Noddy Fest is our number one concern. Dogs should not be forced to take part if they are not happy doing so.

There will be ‘poo bins’ around the field so please clear up after your dog and put your ‘poo bags’ in the bins provided.

Exception:

No dog should be in attendance or compete in the Fun Dog Show if it has been subject to a Court Control Order or a Contingent Destruction Order under the Dogs Act 1871 or the 1991 Dangerous Dogs Act, or to any other equivalent and/or relevant dog control measure.

For banned types, unless they have a valid Certificate of Exemption and comply with all government rules for legal ownership of a banned type – which includes ensuring that they are wearing a muzzle, kept on a lead, neutered and have third party liability insurance. RSPCA Sussex West Branch CIO, organisers of NODDY FEST have the discretionary right to refuse a dog entry if they have concerns about a dog’s legal eligibility.

MOUNT NODDY ANIMAL CENTRE

Mount Noddy Animal Centre is a working RSPCA Sussex West Branch CIO shelter for rescued cats and dogs. The Noddy Fest Fun Dog Show will be held in our ‘Field of Dreams’ a secure field adjoining our kennels. The field is a large outdoor space, and we take care in maintaining the field that is used regularly by our resident dogs. However, the grass in some areas may be uneven with stones or small holes which could be concealed under the grass. Therefore, care should be taken to avoid any potential hazard for your family, or your dog/s.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON THE 5TH
